Target group:
The vaccine is given according to the Danish childhood vaccination program at 15 months and 4 years.
The vaccine can be given from 9 months of age and in special circumstances from 6 months of age.
Adults who have not been vaccinated according to the Danish childhood vaccination program and have not had measles can be vaccinated.
Vaccination dose:
The vaccine is given twice according to the Danish childhood vaccination program. The minimum interval between the two MMR vaccinations is one month.
Adults aged 18 years and older only need one vaccination.
Protection duration:
MMR vaccination performed according to the Danish childhood vaccination program is expected to provide lifelong protection.
