Typhoid vaccine capsules
Vivotif
Target group:
Adults and children aged 5 years and older traveling to areas where typhoid is possible.
Vaccination dose:
A basic vaccination consisting of one capsule is given on each of days 1, 3 and 5.
Protection duration:
The vaccine provides protection from approximately 10 days after taking the last capsule. Protection lasts for at least 3 years, after which you can be revaccinated with the same doses and intervals as the primary vaccination.
